1st annual Bike4Mike and Run4Mike 2020

MMichael Kameo foundation kicked off on July 19th 2020 with the first annual Bike4Mike and Run4Mike! The run was a 5K and the biking was a 12K bike ride.

The event started at Kassin Beach and ended at Keren and Mordi Kameos house in Long Branch, New Jersey. Each participant was asked to raise $2,000 to join the race.

The weather that morning was beautiful, and it helped everyone get into the spirit of running and biking to remember Michael. the energy flowing that morning was visible. The unity the group shared was filled with a togetherness that Michael would have for sure appreciated.

At the end of the race, by the Kameo residence, there were tee shirts, hats, sweatshirts, water bottles, and more with the foundation’s logo that was being sold to raise money for the cause. Breakfast was served, and a few people gave speeches. During this post-race event, people continued to donate money. The fundraiser was a huge success, and we managed to raise over $100,000.
